  • A: No, there is no monetary compensation. In the graduate phase of Renew the men will get jobs to earn money.

  • A: Renew has a men and women’s ministry but are housed separately and do not have interaction between one another.

  • A: Family Days at Farm 58 are the third Saturday of each month from 12 pm until 3 pm.

    Family visitation in Phase 2 of the program is determined by leadership and varies by each individual’s schedule. Each person in Phase 2 will have at least 1 visitation a month.

  • A: You cannot receive or make phone calls at Farm 58 except for emergencies. In Phase 2 the men are allowed to make phone calls on night a week.

  • A: Renew has a zero-tolerance policy for any of these products. We reserve the right to randomly test and a positive test is grounds for dismissal from the program.

  • A: The only media allowed is a mp3 player. They can only contain Christian music genres and must be examined by leadership.

  • A: At Farm 58, church services are streamed from Calvary Chapel to the Farm. The men attend service when they are in Phase 2.

  • A: The ministry requires a one-year commitment. The time you spend at the farm is determined on a case by case basis. Leadership will determine when you have progressed to the second phase.

  • A: All applicants should have these visits before starting a program. We are not a medical facility nor are we equipped to handle serious medical or psychological issues.

  • A: No, Narcotic nor Scheduled Drugs are allowed.

  • A: Cellphones are allowed in the second phase when a job is acquired.

  • A: Renew does not recognize girlfriends. Communication or visits are not allowed.

  • A: As we are a working farm, hours vary according to weather.
    Second phase hours vary as well by work load. Daily devotion and Bible studies are always first and foremost for Renew.

  • A: No instruments are allowed at Farm 58, when you transition into Phase 2 instruments will be allowed on a case-by-case basis.

  • A: There is no cost associated with acceptance to Renew.
